Welcome to the very first Episode of the Money Peach TV and Podcast! In this episode, I tell you a little about me. How did my wife and I go from completely broke, paycheck-to-paycheck, and without hope, to then paying off $52k in 7 months?
Well….
It was hard.
It seemed impossible.
Then we did it.
The truth is money isn’t about the numbers, it’s about your behavior. No one signs up for a credit card and thinks: “I cannot wait to carry a $15k balance at 24.99% and make minimum payments on it for the rest of my life.”
But isn’t that what many do?
No one says, “I cannot wait to buy this brand new car that loses 60% of it’s value in the first 4 years, and then have to trade it in because I am upside down in the loan.”
But this is normal, right?
No one thinks to themselves, “Wouldn’t it be nice to pay for a vacation on our credit card, and then make monthly payments on that same vacation fo the next 18 months.”
You get the point.
The first step to solving your problems with money is to take back control of your money. This always starts with the Budget.
